The purpose of the work is the formation of a methodology for the distribution of expenditures from the budget of the city of Kyiv for financing the training of students of children and youth sports schools and athletes of schools of higher sports mastery in various sports, taking into account the peculiarities of the training processes that affect the activities of institutions, ensuring their harmonious and physical development of students and athletes Based on the results of the conducted research, the following was prepared: o project Methodology for determining the cost of the service for the training of children and youth sports schools in the chosen sport according to the principle "Money follows the athlete"; o project Methodology for determining the cost of the service for training athletes by schools of higher sportsmanship in the chosen sport according to the principle "Money follows the athlete"; o project Methodology for determining the cost of services for organizing and conducting educational and training work, sports competitions, educational and training meetings, physical culture and sports and rehabilitation activities among people with disabilities by sports. Approbation of the prepared methods was carried out on the basis of financial and statistical data on the activity of physical culture and sports institutions for the year 2023. The work was transferred to the Department of Youth and Sports of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration) for the purpose of making rational management decisions.
