A Micro 300C specific surface area and porosity analyzer (JWGB SCI.& TECH) was purchased. Effective reaction catalysts for the formation of cyclic carbonate from styrene epoxide based on hierarchical titanosilicate zeolites of structural types BEA, MFI and MTW, Cs-forms of hierarchical zeolites of various structural types, as well as MgO nanocomposites with hierarchical zeolites and mesoporous molecular sieves, PKP based on trinuclear pivalates and ligands were developed , containing uncoordinated nitrogen atoms. It is shown that among the studied samples, the Cs-form of the hierarchical zeolite BEA with the morphology of aggregated spherical nanocrystallites about 18 nm in size is characterized by the highest catalytic parameters. For this sample, the conversion of styrene epoxide in 22 h was 98.8%, the selectivity for the target product of the reaction, 4-phenyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-one, was 99.9%, and the yield of the target product was 98.7%.
