The subject of the study is optimization models and heuristic methods of constructing a picker's route. The purpose of the work is to improve the functioning of the warehouse of finished products of the State Enterprise "Krasilivskyi Aggregatny Zavod" by optimizing the process of picking orders with the determination of the shortest possible route of the picker. Theoretical studies were performed with the help of mathematical modeling methods, routing theory, heuristic methods of route construction. The result of the work is an algorithm for solving the task of building the optimal route of the picker using heuristic routing methods, which makes it possible to improve the organization of production processes in the warehouse of the enterprise, to improve the location of racks and the distribution of goods in the warehouse (according to the ABC method taking into account the taxonomic measure of attractiveness (TMAL) ). This will ensure smooth and rhythmic execution of orders, which, in turn, will increase the efficiency of the warehouse complex and the enterprise in general. The results of the work were published in 2 articles in professional publications of Ukraine. The main provisions and results of the work were reported and received a positive evaluation at scientific and practical conferences and seminars. The report provides the necessary material to confirm the relevance of the work, a set of methods for solving the problems of rack location, distribution of goods on the racks, and construction of picking routes.
