Research methods – collection and generalization of data, system analysis. Developed technical requirements and proposals for a lower ionosphere rocket sounding system. Processed a list of physical parameters to be measured. For each group of the parameters provided requirements to their measurement, expected ranges, reviews of existing measurement techniques and technical solutions, and, based upon that, provided proposals on the composition of the payload estimated its principal specifications. Formulated the goals of the ground support of the space experiment. Reviewed the sounding rocket launch market. Formulated technical requirements to the sounding rocket complex as a whole. The results of the study will be used during the development of the proposal on the improvement of NCCTSF technical assets and for promotion of an advanced domestic space geophysics rocket project.
