The purpose of the study is to ensure the conformity of economic development and the leading role of international business entities in this process, taking into account the peculiarities of its implementation in the context of world globalization. Research methods are based on the theory of globalization, transnationalization and modeling of economic processes occurring in the field of R&D and innovation. The globalization of business requires new management concepts, the whole world becomes the sphere of activity. In economic development, a key role is played by knowledge, intangible assets, intellectual capital, and the ability to transform into capital-forming factors. The influence of globalization factors creates problems related to instability, requires strategic thinking and links the economic results of economic development with the creation of systemic capabilities. The economy of Ukraine is characterized by types of economic activity with an excess of imports over domestic production. The novelty of the obtained results lies in the formation of reasonable approaches to economic development in the conditions of the formation of global systems. The results of the study, analytical materials were used in the preparation of scientific publications, the development of program and methodological documents, in the development of new disciplines, teaching students, reflected in scientific publications, provided at international scientific and practical conferences, during international internships and are useful for further research and implementation in methodological documents.
