The subject of the study is the place and role of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in conducting inspections of the structural units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as central executive organs, whose activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The scientific research was conducted due to the fact that, despite the intensity and wide range of research devoted to various aspects of control activities in public administration and problems closely related to them, many issues in the specified area currently remain debatable. This applies, in particular, to problematic issues of organization and conducting inspections of the activities of structural units of executive authorities and their territorial organs.
