Numerous studies show that there is a negative trend in students' attitude to physical culture and education, their importance for personal and professional health is not realized. The fact of a decrease in the level of health and psychophysical readiness of students is noted, which can affect the formation of general and professional competencies and the success of professional training in a higher education institution, and later on labor activity. Basic scientific developments can be used by institutions of higher education in the development and improvement of pedagogical science courses - in particular, from the theory of physical culture, which is considered in the relationship and mutual influence of general and physical culture, reveals the regularities according to which the physical development of a person and his physical education are managed .
