Aim: To create an analytical theory of polar and electronic properties of LD-TMDs and its application for forecasting and optimizing the properties of LD-TMDs. Methodologies: Landau-Ginzburg-Devonshire theory, elasticity theory, electrodynamics, semiconductor theory, symmetry theory and molecular dynamics will be used to describe the polar and electronic properties of LD-TMDs, scanning probe microscopy, optical, IR and Raman spectroscopy, in particular surface-enhanced vibrational spectroscopy. Novelty: The successful implementation of the project will lead to a self-consistent analytical theory to describe the key mechanisms and physical nature of polar, electronic and structural properties of LD-TMD. During the 2023year: 1. The influence of deformations on the polar and electronic properties of HB-M'yM1-yX2 has been established. 2. The effect of the concentration of impurities on the electronic, polar and structural properties of HB-M'yM1-yX2 was established. 3. The possibilities of controlling the optical and polar properties of Janus compounds have been established. 4. A road map of HB-DPM with controlled polar and electronic properties for the latest applications in nanoelectronics and biomedicine has been created 5. The results of the Project for 2023 were published in 6 articles in Q1 journals, 1 article in Q3 journal, and 3 abstracts of international conferences.
