The purpose of the research work is to improve the elements of the resource-saving technology of growing sesame under drip irrigation in the south of Ukraine. The object of research: sesame of the Husar variety, methods of sowing and plant density, methods and regimes of irrigation, use of preparations based on adhesives and surface-active substances. According to the results of research in 2021-2023, sesame productivity indicators were obtained under drip irrigation conditions. Elements of the resource-saving technology of growing sesame under drip irrigation in the Steppe zone of Ukraine. It was established that when growing sesame in the conditions of Southern Ukraine, the wide-row method of sowing with 70 cm spacing is optimal. Thus, the highest productivity indicators were obtained with the wide-row method of sowing at 70 cm, the number of pods on one plant was 113, seeds - 7874, yield was 1.22 t/ha profit, while 87,596 hryvnias/ha. Based on the results of research on irrigation methods and regimes, it was found that drip irrigation is economically beneficial and helps to increase the productivity and yield of sesame. The highest yield of 1.16 t/ha and the highest moisture use efficiency of 0.24 kg/m3 was obtained with surface drip irrigation at a moisture level of 75‒80% HB. The greatest impact on the formation and preservation of the structural elements of sesame productivity was achieved by the variants using the drug Agrolip - factor-A, factor-B - drugs based on adhesives and surface-active substances in combination with the Reglon Super desiccant. It was found that the use of desiccants precisely in the phase of 70% browning of pods contributed to uniform drying of sesame plants, timely collection of seeds and, accordingly, reduction of its losses, which ensured an increase in yield by 0.17–0.33 t/ha compared to the control option .
