From the experience of conducting fire-technical examinations, it is known that their implementation is associated with the use of a large number of terms and definitions, which are explained in different ways in different informational and regulatory sources. Therefore, the content of the conclusions of the forensic fire-technical examination on the same object of research are not always presented unambiguously. The purpose of the іcientific research work is to develop a dictionary of terms and definitions of concepts used in the conduct of forensic fire-engineering expertise, which defines Ukrainian terms and definitions of concepts in the field of forensic fire-engineering expertise, which are used in the process of expert support in criminal, civil, and commercial proceedings.
