Methodological recommendations provide for the creation of unified algorithms for the use of each of the methodological approaches regulated by the Law of Ukraine "On Property Valuation and Property Rights and Professional Valuation Activities," as well as National Standard No. 1 "General Principles of Property Valuation and Property Rights," and in case of impossibility or inexpediency of their use in the evaluation of the RRS - establishing the reasons and providing scientifically sound explanations. The work carried out a literary review of domestic and foreign sources of information, the selection of the necessary theoretical material. The selected material is summarized taking into account practical developments in the field of transport and commodity research for assessing the rolling stock of the railway.
