To establish the peculiarities of the formation of productivity of energy willow and miscanthus on the basis of improvement and substantiation of elements of technology of their cultivation in the conditions of Western Polissya. popup.description2 The object of the study is the processes of biomass formation of energy willow and miscanthus on soils with different levels of fertility and mineral fertilization, stand density when growing them for solid fuel in the soil and climate conditions of Western Polissia. The subject of research is the planting of perennial energy plants, productivity of energy willow and miscanthus depending on soil fertility and different doses of mineral fertilizers, technological measures of growing perennial energy plants for solid biofuel. Research methods - field - to determine the interaction of the object of research with weather and agrotechnical factors; weight - to determine the productivity of energy plants; chemical - to determine the agrochemical properties of the soil; statistical - to determine the reliability of the obtained results; calculation-comparative - to determine the economic and energy efficiency of the developed technological measures for growing bioenergy crops. Scientific novelty - a technology will be developed aimed at obtaining maximum yields of dry mass for the production of solid biofuel by growing energy willow and miscanthus in the soil and climatic conditions of Western Polissia. Research has established that the highest yield of dry biomass over the three years of research, 80.0 t/ha, was obtained by growing energy willow on dark gray light loamy soil and the N60P200K200 fertilization system and planting density of 20,000 units/ha. Miscanthus yield under similar growing conditions was 82.8 t/ha. Conditionally net income of energy willow according to the results of three-year research was UAH 61,185/ha and miscanthus was UAH 61,219/ha, almost the same. On sod-podzolic cohesive-sandy soil, under the same growing conditions and fertilization system, the yield of solid biofuel from willow and miscanthus was lower by 12.9 and 16.9 t/ha.
