It was established that the saturation of water condensate with gaseous hydrogen significantly intensifies the hydrogenation of the metal and accelerates the corrosion rate. Higher sensitivity of exploited steels to hydrogen embrittlement and hydrogen-induced cracking under certain test conditions was revealed.
