Analysis of monitoring data for SARS-CoV-2 infection and air pollution with PM. popup.stage_title Head Dziubenko Nataliia V., Кандидат біологічних наук Registration Date 30-11-2023 Organization Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv popup.description2 The object of the research is ACE 2 receptors, monitoring data of SARS-CoV-2 infection and air pollution with PM. The purpose of the work is to study the cumulative neurotoxic effects of multicomponent PM pollution and neuroactive pharmaceutical pollutants, biomaterials, toxic metals using our own approach to neurotoxicity assessment using brain nerve terminals, in vitro and in vivo animal models; determination of PM types that can be carriers of pollutants; molecular mechanisms of neurotoxicity; the relationship between PM and susceptibility to SARS-CoV-2; countermeasures. Methods – mathematical modeling, molecular biological, histological, statistical analysis. It was shown that the introduction of solid nanoparticles of smoke (PM) from the burning of poplar wood and medical mask and heavy metals, as well as their combination, led to a decrease in the body weight of rats, pro-inflammatory disorders on the part of the gastrointestinal tract of rats (an increase in the amount of water in feces, an increase in activity МПО in the mucous membrane of the colon) and changes in the mass of immune organs. Administration of PM decreased the expression of ACE2 receptors in the colon of rats, and administration of heavy metals (lead and cadmium) did not affect this parameter. No probable changes were observed in the concentration of ACE2 in blood plasma under the influence of the studied pollutants. The recovery rate in lightly polluted regions of Ukraine was higher from the beginning of the pandemic to mid-spring 2021; in the period from April to October 2021, the recovery rates for heavily and lightly polluted regions had similar dynamics. Mortality per 100,000 population in heavily polluted regions was generally higher during 2020-2021. Product Description popup.authors Korbush Mariya Yu.
