The most rational is the formation of a hybrid herd, which uses hybrids obtained by crossing Edilbayiv (ram) and Tsygay (ewe) breeds of sheep. Thus, the average birth weight of hybrids increased by 0.9 kg; at the age of 2 months - by 2.6 kg; at the age of 5 months - by 5.5 kg. The slaughter yield of the main products of the hybrid group was 51.8%, which is 4.4% higher than the purebred group. Addition of the Aydar drug to the diet during the fattening of the experimental group with the purebred crossbreeding scheme resulted in an increase in all productivity indicators compared to the control group, the increase in the average slaughter carcass weight compared to the control group was 0.9 kg. The timing of weaning lambs from ewes also affected the yield of the main product - meat. Thus, at five months of age, the average carcass weight of lambs of the second group (weaning lambs after 90 days) exceeded the control group (weaning lambs after 120 days) and the first group (weaning lambs after 60 days) by 0.4-0.5 kg and 0. .7-0.8 kg, respectively. Calculation of the economic efficiency of obtaining the main sheep product (meat) demonstrates the advantage of early transfer of lambs to a mixed housing option. So the level of profitability of lamb was 76.6-79.3%.
