The development of powdery mildew and septoriosis on the control variants was higher (25%) than on the variants with the use of biological preparations. A disease such as pyrenophorosis had the greatest development on winter wheat plants. The development of the disease on the control variant was 40%. On the variant with the use of Funaben + Amalgerol + Yamato + Scaba, the least development of the disease was noted, the highest yield was formed - 7.3 t/ha, the profitability was 188.5%. The use of biological preparations in the cultivation of spring barley on a mineral nutrition background made it possible to obtain a yield of 5.2 t/ha on the option of Microhumin + Baikal for seed treatment, the profitability was 121.3%. Against the background of nutrition with the introduction of Biohumus, a yield of 4.3 t/ha was formed when using Microhumin for seed treatment + Ecostimul for treatment of spring barley plants in the tillering phase, the profitability was 96.5%. The most harmful disease of spring barley plants in the conditions of the eastern part of the Northern Steppe of Ukraine is reticulate helminthosporiosis. Against the background of nutrition with the introduction of mineral fertilizers, the development of the disease was in the range of 11-18%, only on the option with the use of Microhumin for seed treatment - 23%. Against the background of nutrition with the introduction of Biohumus when using biological preparations for the treatment of seeds and plants, the development of the disease was in the range of 13-21%.
