The object of the study is the process of creating and implementing a digital tourist product based on the existing potential of the national recreational infrastructure. The subject of the research is strategizing the process of creating a digital tourist product to reproduce and preserve the national tourist potential of Ukraine. Emphasis is placed on the priority of designing integrated digital systems based on a human-centred approach, solving the problems of data confidentiality and safety of handling in a virtual environment; a classification of online threats is provided in accordance with the specific requirements of developers and users of travel portals and mobile applications. The strategic priorities of innovative investment by individual industries and spheres of activity, the level of commitment of stakeholders in relation to breakthrough innovations are analysed. The significant impact of the tourism industry on social well-being and sustainable development of society within the state and the significant export potential of digital (including virtual) tourist services were noted.
