The main goal of the work is to develop the principles of creating new fluorescent materials with increased brightness and photostability to improve the sensitivity and reliability of diagnostics by methods of flow cytofluorimetry and fluorescence microscopy.‎ The goal of the first stage of the project is to obtain monomeric fluorophores based on derivatives of 2,5-diaryloxazole, naphthalic acid, xanthene, cyanine, squaraine and styryl dyes. Study of the photophysical properties of the obtained compounds The conducted literature and patent search made it possible to make a preliminary selection of classes of monomeric dyes and functionalized linkers, among which the leader structures were chosen for the further development of medical-biological tags and for construction of multifluorophore systems based on them at future stages of the project.‎ A number of new fluorophores based on 2,5 diaryloxazole, naphthalic acid and xanthene derivatives, cyanine, squaraine and styryl dyes were developed. They differ in hydrophilicity and the presence of substituents and linkers that ensure further binding to biomolecules or other dye molecules to create multifluorophore systems.‎ Basic methods of spectral and photophysical measurements were developed and data on the spectral and luminescent characteristics of the newly obtained dyes were obtained.
