The purpose of the research was to improve the elements of the technology of growing new varieties of wheatgrass on the basis of the maximum use of soil and climatic conditions and genetic potential in the Western region of Ukraine. Field studies were conducted on sod-podzolic surface-glazed overmoistened acidic soils in a special crop rotation experimental base of the Precarpathian Department of Scientific Research of the Institute of Agriculture of the Carpathian Region of the National Academy of Sciences. (Lishnya village, Drohobytsky District, Lviv Region). The object of research is the elements of technology for growing new varieties of mixed wheatgrass. According to the yield of green mass over the two years of research, variants No. 6 (N30+60P60K90 + Avangard Grow Amino + Avangard R) of the Boykivchanka variety stand out, which provided, respectively, 35.5 and 33.6 t/ha, exceeding the control by 129 and 110%. or 20.0 and 18.4 t/ha; For the Marichka variety, respectively, 33.3 and 31.6 t/ha, exceeding the control by 152 and 144%, or 20.1 and 18.7 t/ha. The same variants provided the best variant of dry matter: Boykivchanka variety 7.8 and 7.2 t/ha and Marichka variety 6.8 and 6.7 t/ha, exceeding the control by 5.6–6.3 and 5.2 -5.4 t/ha. The highest seed yield on average over the two years of the combined wheatgrass record was provided by variants N30+60P60K30 Avangard Grow Amino+Avangard R: Marichka variety, respectively 0.47–0.49 t/ha, Boykivchanka variety – 0.49–0.51 t/ha ha, which is higher than the control by 80.7–81.5%; 50.1–63.3%, or by 0.21–0.22 and 0.17–0.19 t/ha. Options with higher doses of mineral and complex mineral fertilizers are the most economically beneficial.
