The purpose of the work is to establish the relationship between the properties of laser-induced micro- and nanostructures on the surface of electrodes/substrates, and the characteristics of the (electro) chemiluminescent signal generated on these structures. This will provide an opportunity to create the latest (E)CL-(bio)sensor platforms with improved analytical properties based on laser-induced functional structures and to expand the application potential of laser induced surface structures. The “FAROS” femtosecond laser complex was used to generate various laser-induced nano- and microstructures on the electrode surfaces. The power and uniformity of the intensity of the laser beam were controlled by the “Standa” power meter and the high-speed detector, respectively. Electrochemical and ECL studies of the properties of electrodes with LIPS structures were carried out by methods of cyclic voltammetry, voltammetry on a rotating disk electrode, pulse voltammetry using an Autolab PGSTAT128N electrochemical station, complexes for ECL analysis ELAN-2M and ELAN-3D of our own development, microscopic studies using a metallographic microscope MIK -4 and Leica DFC9000GTC cameras, studies of the surface nanomorphology of electrode samples were carried out using the Microtestmachines NT-206 atomic force microscope. Results and their novelty: a) new functional properties of stainless steel modified by femtosecond laser pulses were obtained for the first time, which consist in the possibility of generating an ECL signal by phosphors (trisbipyridyl complex of ruthenium and 9,10-diphenylanthracene) during homogeneous (both co-reactive and annihilation ECL) on stainless steel with LIPSS. ECL was not observed for these systems on stainless steel electrodes wi Product Description popup.authors Snizhko Dmytro Viktorovych Vasylkovskyi Volodymyr Sergiyovych Gevko Ihor Hryhorovych, Gnilitskyi Yaroslav M.
