Research object – phase-structural state, mechanical properties in the coarse-grained and nanocrystalline states, and the effect of irradiation on the structure and mechanical properties of multicomponent concentrated alloy (MCCA); patterns of phase formation, deformation mechanisms. Research subject - alloys of the Cr-Fe-Ni-Mn-Al and Cr-Fe-Ni-Mn-Al systems, as well as Nb-Ti-V-Zr-Al and Ta-Ti-V-Zr-Al, doping with implementation atoms and formation of nanostructural state in MCCA by intensive plastic deformation methods. Purpose of work – creating the scientific bases for controlling the structure, physical, mechanical and radiation properties of a fundamentally new class of metal materials based on multicomponent concentrated alloys (MCCA), implementing the obtained fundamental results to develop specific materials with enhanced functional characteristics for use in energy and various engineering fields. Research methods – theoretical calculations, argon arc, electron beam and induction melting, extrusion, rolling, heat treatment in high-temperature vacuum furnaces, metallography, X-ray diffraction analysis, microhardness measurement, ion implantation, nanoindentation, scanning and transmission electron microscopy. Results and novelty: first: – calculations of the predicted phase composition of 21 alloys of the Cr-Fe-Ni-Mn-Al system, 30 alloys of the Nb-Ti-V-Zr-Al system, and 30 alloys of the Ta-Ti-V-Zr-Al system were performed. Concentration regions within which single-phase states with fcc and bcc lattices are realized, as well as regions with heterophase structure and the phase composition of these regions, have been determined; – the methodology was developed and the process of melting and crystallization of alloys was optimized. The high homogeneity of ingot composition and good correspondence of their actual and nominal compositions, as well as the absence of liquation, were established; – Product Description popup.authors Velikodnyi Oleksander Mykolajovych Stoev Petr Illich Tikhonovsky Myhajlo Andrijovych popup.nrat_date 2023-12-10 Close
