The subject of the final stage is the development of scientifically based recommendations for optimizing functionally oriented technological processes for the manufacture of firearms, the use of highly efficient processes for surface hardening of military equipment, and the improvement of machining of gears as part of automotive and armored vehicles manufactured by the Lviv Armored Plant. The results of providing microgeometric and stress-strain parameters of the machined surfaces were processed. A software, analytical apparatus, and a generalized algorithm for structural and parametric optimization of the functionally oriented technological process of machining small arms and artillery products have been developed. Recommendations are given for using highly effective methods of surface plastic deformation of the surfaces of products subject to intense power and thermodynamic loading during operation. The use of cylindrical gears with a modified profile obtained by the developed method of gear cutting in the onboard gearboxes of armored personnel carriers, compared to the used cylindrical involute gears, will increase the life of the gearing by reducing contact stresses on the tooth surfaces by 1.24 times and reducing tooth slippage by 75% and 59%. Joint Ukrainian-Lithuanian research work was carried out to optimize the processes of machining and welding of armor-piercing materials for the Lviv Armored Plant. The results of the research were published in 3 articles (one of them is indexed in Web of Science (Q1), another is indexed in Scopus (Q4), and another in a professional publication of Ukraine) authored by Ukrainian and Lithuanian project co-executors.
