For the reporting period of 2021-2023, 164 collection samples were introduced. 67 samples from Ukraine, 22 samples from Belarus, 25 samples from Russia, 4 samples each from Moldova, the Czech Republic and Germany, 13 samples from England, 2 samples each from Hungary, China, Poland, Italy and France, 6 samples from the Netherlands, 5 samples from the USA, 1 sample each from Kazakhstan, Canada, Brazil and Mexico. 43 samples of edible tomato, 30 samples of sweet pepper, 13 - eggplant, 10 samples of white cabbage and other types of cabbage, 28 samples of carrots, 18 - table beets, 15 samples of lettuce, 6 pumpkins and 1 sample of onion were involved. 284 sources of valuable economic traits (earliness, productivity, productivity, biochemical composition, biometric indicators and resistance to diseases) were selected. An in-depth study of the valuable economic features of collection samples made it possible to create catalogs based on morphological, quantitative and qualitative features of vegetable and melon crops.
