Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 As a result of the performance of work on stage #1, the planned tasks were solved and the following scientific and technical results were obtained: • The design and software of the analyzer of low-temperature (up to -150 oC) thermal fields have been modernized. The modernized device is already used in experiments to study the dynamics of ice spot growth on the surface of model liquids in vitro. • Thermal fields on the skin surface of patients with burns were studied (more than 300 thermograms were obtained and analyzed), including 17 patients examined in the first three days after the injury. Algorithms for quantitative and statistical processing of thermal data and clinical indicators have been developed. Quantitative processing of the received thermal images and compilation of the database of received thermal and clinical data was carried out. • Mathematical modeling of the process of spreading of the ice zone on the surface and in the depth of the model liquid (a gel imitating biological tissue) during its cooling by a quasi-point nitrogen cryoapplicator and subsequent natural rewarming was carried out. The time and amplitude parameters of the ice zone, the dynamics of the ice zone edge and necrotic isotherm (-40 oС), etc., were obtained. • The dynamics of ice zone growth on model liquids (water and gel) at different durations of cryoimpact with a quasi-point cryoapplicator were studied experimentally. Thermographic films of ice spot growth on the surface, as well as video films of ice zone growth inside the model liquid, and temperature dynamics at 7 points of the ice zone were obtained and analyzed quantitatively.   Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2023-12-13 Close
