Analytical methods of quality control for raw materials, ethyl esters, and fuel products have been established. A laboratory batch of fatty acid ethyl esters (3.5 liters) based on unrefined sunflower oil was synthesized. The technological parameters of the main stages of the process of obtaining mixed ethanol biodiesel fuel have been established. A study of diesel fuel samples commercially available in Ukraine was carried out. Shell Euro-5 diesel fuel, which does not contain added fatty acid esters, was selected for the preparation of mixed alternative fuel. On the basis of the synthesized ethyl esters and commercial petroleum diesel fuel, a recipe for mixed ethanol biodiesel fuel ВЕ-30 for diesel engines was created in accordance with the current national standard for alternative fuel, and a corresponding laboratory fuel sample was prepared. The properties of BE-30 fuel were determined according to DSTU 8695:2016 "Alternative fuel for diesel engines. Specifications". According to all 14 investigated characteristics, the prepared BE-30 fuel sample meets the requirements of the standard. The oxidizing and tribological characteristics of the obtained fuel were studied. The Passport for the quality of this fuel has been prepared.
