Analysis of 16 rRNA genes allowed identification of representatives of 6 genera: Streptomyces, Nocardia, Kribbella, Actinoplanes, Micromonospora and Embleya. Their morphological and cultural features are described. Strains capable of growing at a temperature from 4 ºС to 45 ºС and at a pH of 4–12 were identified. Most of the strains grew at an increased concentration of NaCl (2.5%) Only the strain Streptomyces sp. Da 81-11 grew at high NaCl values (up to 10%). A third of the isolates showed antagonistic properties to at least one of the 10 used test cultures pathogenic for humans and phytopathogenic bacteria and fungi. Strains capable of inhibiting the growth of Mycobacterium smegmatis were isolated. The spectrum of resistance to 21 antibiotics with different mechanisms of action was studied. A feature of a significant number of isolates was their sensitivity to beta-lactam antibiotics, which may be related to the structure of the cell wall. According to the results of the evaluation of the enzymatic properties of D. antarctica rhizosphere actinobacteria, the largest share of isolates (60-75%) shows amylolytic and cellulolytic activity. 38% of the isolates showed protease and lipolytic activity. Almost half of the isolates have phytostimulating properties. The level of indolyl-3-acetic acid production in 10% of the isolates ranged from 50 to 80 μg/ml. Approximately 50% of the isolates solubilized phosphorus compounds, 13% - phosphorus compounds, and 33% produced siderophores. Atmospheric nitrogen fixation was not detected in any of the studied isolates. Product Description popup.authors Roman Ivan Ivanovych Fedorenko Viktor Oleksandrovych popup.nrat_date 2023-12-15 Close
