The report presents the main results of research carried out according to the plan of the II stage of the NDR (January 1, 2023 - December 31, 2023). The second stage of the work is devoted to the generalization of the developed methods, which take into account the effects of multimode, conversion, competition and convection, for the further study of loss compensation in three-dimensional structures from resonators in open space. Consideration of PT-symmetric dielectric metasurfaces consisting of nanostructures with gain and loss modulation. We found out the role of individual dispersion asymmetries in the periodic configuration of a cell of a flat fully dielectric metamaterial. It is shown that by changing the sign and profile of the complex permittivity, as well as the ratio between its real and imaginary parts for different nanoparticles, one can induce a high-quality resonance excited state of the trapped mode. Such excitation leads to significant local enhancement of the field and localization of light within the system, which can be used for strong interaction of light and matter. We have generalized a multimode approach for the analysis of a coupled photon-plasmon system of a dielectric waveguide and a three-layer (dielectric-metal-dielectric) waveguide spaser. This system demonstrates the ability to control the properties of an optical wave by adjusting the location of the Exceptional Point and the polarization of the incident wave. Such two-stage control significantly expands the application of this structure in hybrid photon-plasmon systems with gain and loss modulation. An important area of further use of the proposed structures will be the creation of all-optical circuits for computing, information processing and networks, which are expected to overcome the speed limitations of electronic systems.
