Registration Date 15-12-2023 Organization Research Institute for the Study of Crime Problems named by Academician V.V.. Stashis of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 The project is an in-depth theoretical and applied study of the problems of human rights protection in the process of social transit from armed conflict to peace. The research has revealed that transitional justice for Ukraine is unique in its content and combinatorics, a generally managed, open, autogenetic, multi-level, multidirectional system of jurisdictional and non-jurisdictional measures aimed at ensuring the restoration and comprehensive protection of human rights within four functional modules 1) fair criminal justice; 2) reparations for victims of the conflict; 3) establishment of historical truth; 4) institutional reforms aimed at preventing the repeated armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, including through neutralisation of domestic preconditions for its facilitation. The author identifies shortcomings and formulates proposals for improving a number of provisions of the current criminal legislation in terms of liability for crimes against humanity and waging an aggressive war in line with international standards. The results of the survey conducted among the public (1,723 people), internally displaced persons (1,527 respondents), employees of the National Police (7,209 respondents), military personnel (105 respondents) and experts (23 respondents) are of practical value. The study of the perception of the idea of amnesty, lustration as transitional justice tools, settlement of issues related to the reduction of firearms, explosive devices (including trophy ones), as well as a number of other components of post-conflict transit will form the basis for the development of an effective mechanism for protecting human rights and combating crime during the post-conflict reconstruction period.  Product Description popup.authors Kalinina Alina V Klepka Daria Ihorivna Maksym H.
