Crossbreeds were characterized by better development of the chest and pelvis. Crossbreed rams grazing on natural pastures were characterized by a higher intensity of growth, and were characterized by better slaughter and meat indicators than purebred Ascanian crossbreds. The wool of crossbred sheep is shorter than that of purebred sheep, characterized by finer grades (56-58 quality). Purebred Ascanian crossbreds have a significant advantage in terms of shearing in unwashed and washed fiber, as well as the yield of pure wool. Local and purebred first-born ewes do not differ significantly in terms of reproductive capacity. Lambs from crossbred mothers were born larger than purebred crossbreds, and in terms of live weight at weaning, at the age of 6 and 8 months, they outnumbered purebreds of the same age. In terms of one breeding ewe, 14% (205.67 hryvnias) more product was produced than a purebred ewe.
