Bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus UKM B-2691 were used. Antibacterial properties were tested on test cultures: Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Bacillus subtilis B-901, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Pseudomonas aeruginosa PA01. All cultures were obtained from the Ukrainian collection of microorganisms of the Institute of Microbiology and Virology named after D. K. Zabolotny National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The strains belong to the Ukrainian collection of microorganisms. The fungicidal effect was tested on phytopathogenic micromycetes isolated from the leaves of the red rose "Black Magic" and isolates of Fusarium solani, Alternaria alternat. As a result, optimal conditions for the biogenic synthesis of silver nanoparticles using lactic acid bacteria with a size of 29-34 nm were shown. Optimal technological parameters (pH and temperature) for the formation of silver nanoparticles have been established. It was shown that at a concentration of 1 mM, silver nanoparticles stop the growth of all tested test cultures. Micromycetes are affected at a concentration of 10 mM.
