The purpose of the work is to review and analyze modern technical solutions for the design and technology of dry coke quenching. The research method is informational and analytical. The work presents and considers technical solutions for high-performance dry coke quenching plants (CDCP): the experience of launching CDCP at NMDC and JSW plants according to the company's projects is summarized and the technical solutions used by the main competitors in their CDCP projects are compared. The analysis of the decisions of SE "GIPROKOKS" regarding the laying of the extinguishing chamber, the improvement of the loading and unloading devices, the blast device, and the use of the sub-economizer was carried out. An evaluation of the expediency of the implementation of the specified solutions according to the CDCP of the structure of the SE "GIPROKOKS" in order to increase the efficiency and productivity of the installation, to optimize construction costs, was carried out. The analyzed decisions regarding the CDCP and the data added on the main equipment of the CDCP can be used as basic engineering for promising enterprise projects. The work should be continued in the direction of improving the technical solutions of dry coke quenching technology developed by the company's main competitors (especially for CDCP of high productivity).
