The object of the research is the psychological diagnosis of the personality of the employees of the National Police of Ukraine. The subject of the study is methods of psychological diagnosis of individual and personal characteristics of the employees of the National Police of Ukraine (Questionnaires 16-PF Cattell and "Mini-Mult"). Research methods are chosen based on the defined goals and tasks, taking into account its object and subject. To solve the tasks, a set of complementary methods was applied: theoretical: analysis, synthesis, comparison, modeling, generalization, systematization, study and analysis of literature on the research problem and the legal framework of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine; empirical: questionnaires, psychodiagnostic methods, expert evaluation, semi-standardized individual interviews; statistical (correlation analysis, reliability analysis of differences in mean values based on Student's t-test, latent structural analysis. Obtained results: Methodological recommendations have been prepared devoted to the problem of improving the methods of psychological study of individual characteristics of police officers, namely the issue of using Ukrainian-language versions of common subjective psychodiagnostic methods in work with personnel: Cattell's sixteen-factor questionnaire 16-PF and the personality questionnaire "Mini-Mult". the texts of the questionnaires in the Ukrainian language, instructions and methodological tips for their use, keys for calculating the results, psychometric indicators and standardized test norms for a sample of police officers are presented.
