It carried out a theoretical and experimental study of the physical structure, patterns of hydrodynamics and heat transfer in swirling and vortex flows, new scientific data have been obtained characterizing the physical structure of the flow during the combustion of biofuel microparticles in a swirling flow behind the fluidized bed furnace, heat transfer and hydrodynamics were studied during transverse flow around round cylinders with spiral grooves on the outer surface, double-row film cooling schemes on a flat and curved plate with two rows of holes and vortex coolant supply. Additionally, some aspects of new materials for energy based on micro- and nano-sized ZNS are considered, aerodynamics and heat transfer during external flow around conical chimneys of thermal power plants, taking into account the infrastructure of the surrounding space and the thermal power plant site.
