The object of the research is the professional activity of psychologists of the NPU with cases of sexual violence against a child. The subject of the study is the methodology of the work of the psychologist of the NPU with children who have suffered from sexual violence. Research methods. chosen based on the defined goals and tasks, taking into account its object and subject. To solve the tasks, a research program was developed, the implementation of which involved the use of a complex of general scientific methods: analysis and generalization of scientific psychological literature and the legal framework on the research problem, synthesis of the obtained information, content analysis. Obtained results: methodical recommendations dedicated to the comprehensive analysis of theoretical and practical approaches in the professional activity of the psychologist of the NPU with children who have suffered from sexual violence have been prepared. Methodological recommendations define the psychological content of sexual violence against children as social destruction, its types and consequences. The specifics and methods of work of the NPU psychologist with children of different age groups who suffered from sexual violence are characterized.
