The purpose of this work is to create a portable gamma probe for registration and localization of radiation sources, including for medical use. As a result of the performance of works under contract No. 22X-04-11/2023 for March-December 2023: - manufacturing and experimental research of a mock-up sample of an autonomous portable gamma probe for registration and localization of radiation of radiopharmaceuticals, incl. for medical use; - the design of a portable gamma probe consists of a detecting unit and a main unit, which are connected to each other by a 1.5 m long cable; - the design of the detecting unit of a portable gamma probe was developed based on a silicon uncooled planar detector developed by the NNC KhFTI and a CsI(Tl) scintillator, as well as a charge-sensitive pre-amplifier; - designed and manufactured the main unit, which consists of a shaping amplifier, a discriminator, a power supply unit, a processor module and a liquid crystal indicator; - conducted studies of the characteristics of a portable gamma probe with radiation sources of 57Co, 133Va, which showed a spatial distribution of 5 mm at a level of 0.5 from the maximum (source at a distance of 30 mm) in the energy range of 100-400 keV, which allows the use of a gamma probe for medical purposes .
