Purpose - to develop LED modules, DC to AC conversion systems and design and technological solutions for a photovoltaic power plant for lighting and power supply systems using renewable energy sources. Research methods - modern methods of studying photovoltaic, electrical and statistical parameters and characteristics of the manufactured experimental samples were used in the work, the development and optimisation of structures was performed by computer modelling. The developed and manufactured experimental samples of LED modules provided luminous efficiency of at least 150 lm/W and power in the range from 8 to 40 W. Experimental samples of efficient systems for converting direct current (24 V) to alternating current (220 V, 50 Hz) were developed and tested, providing power up to 1 kV and a correct sinusoidal voltage waveform. Design and technological solutions were developed that showed the possibility of implementing a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of at least 1 kW using the selected type of photovoltaic modules.
