The object of the study is the spread of ridge wilting in vineyards and features of the development of the disease, factors limiting its development and harmfulness, field endurance of varieties, a system of protective measures using effective fungicides and biostimulants based on amino acids. The subject of the research is grapes and grape plantations affected by the desiccation disease. The purpose of the research is to monitor the spread and characteristics of the development of the disease of grape ridges, to establish the causes of its occurrence and the impact on the quantitative and qualitative indicators of the harvest. The research was conducted on the basis of generally accepted methods, which are used in the domestic and international practice of scientific research in viticulture, phytopathology and plant protection. The degree of spread and development of the desiccation disease in the industrial plantations of the south of Ukraine in the modern conditions of grape cultivation has been established. Varieties that are more affected by the disease have been identified, during the cultivation of which in the system of agrotechnical measures it is necessary to control the development of the disease of grape crest drying. It was established that the table group varieties have the highest degree of damage, from the group of early ripening varieties - Muscat pearl, Arcadia, Augustine, Italy, and medium late ripening varieties - Moldova, Odesa Souvenir.
