The paper presents the distribution and features of the development of the disease of grape ridges depending on the meteorological conditions of the year and the varietal composition of industrial grape plantations in the south of Ukraine. The purpose of the research: is to study the ecological features of the development of the disease of grape ridge drying and its prevalence in relation to the varietal composition of plantations in the conditions of southern Ukraine. The degree of spread and development of the desiccation disease in the industrial plantations of the south of Ukraine in the modern conditions of grape cultivation has been established. Varieties that are more affected by the disease have been identified, during the cultivation of which in the system of agrotechnical measures it is necessary to control the development of the disease of grape crest drying. It was established that the table group varieties have the greatest degree of damage, from the group of varieties of early ripening period - Muscat pearl, Arcadia, of medium late ripening period - Moldova, Odesa Souvenir.
