The aim of the work is to develop new and improve existing methods of forecasting dangerous and severe meteorological phenomena over different regions of Ukraine, as well as to characterize the variability of meteorological values and circulation conditions on the territory of Ukraine during climate changes The purpose of the work is to improve the quality of prognostic support of the state economy through the development of new and improvement of traditional methods of forecasting dangerous meteorological conditions, detection and typification of meteorological and circulation conditions on the eve of the occurrence of dangerous weather phenomena over the territory of Ukraine. Research methods – processing of meteorological data, spatio-temporal generalization of meteorological and synoptic information, synoptic analysis, statistical analysis, quantitative assessment of the state of the atmosphere. Determined the advective changes in temperature and air humidity on the eve of the formation of low cloud at Odessa station. Provided an assessment of the effectiveness of fog forecasting methods in Kherson and identified the reasons for unsuccessful forecasts. Established the modern spatio-temporal distribution, circulation and thermo-dynamic factors of the occurrence of thunderstorms at the stations of the Odesa region. Determined the effectiveness of calculation methods for forecasting thunderstorms at the Kyiv (Zhulyany) AMSC. Revealed the geographical distribution of the activity of hail formation processes on the territory of Ukraine and the synoptic conditions for the occurrence of severe hail. Determined the nature of the circulation, the thermodynamic state of the troposphere and the sources of atmospheric moisture during extreme precipitation in Ukraine as a result of the research using the atmospheric reanalysis ERA Product Description popup.authors Agayar Ellina Viktorovna Borovska Halyna Voloshyna Olena Viktorivna Michenko Natalya Mihaylovna Nashmudinova Olena M popup.nrat_date 2023-12-22 Close
