The subject of research is a set of theoretical and applied aspects of the formation and development of bean plants, features of the production process, elements of growing technology: variety, sowing dates, methods of sowing and sowing rates, economic and energy indicators of the technology of growing common beans. The purpose of the research is to study the influence of the elements of cultivation technology and the genotype of the variety on the processes of forming the productivity of common beans and to develop the technology of its cultivation under climatic changes in the conditions of the Forest Steppe. Research methods are laboratory, field, measuring and weighing, statistical. An improved technology for growing high-yielding varieties of common beans under climatic changes in the conditions of the forest-steppe has been developed, which includes sowing beans in the first decade of May in a wide-row method with a sowing rate of 450,000 similar seeds per 1 ha. During the years of research (2021–2023), the average grain yield of the Mavka variety was 3.51 t/ha, and the Panna variety was 3.29 t/ha. The protein content in the grain was in the range of 20.6–21.8%. The level of profitability of growing common beans was 161–174%.
