It has been determined that the most effective and suitable for use in the conditions of NSC KIPT is the method for determining thermal conductivity using reference samples. The assumption is confirmed that, as a result of a significant difference in the elastic modulus of carbon fibers and the matrix, an effect may occur in which heat transfer between the sample and the counterbody occurs only at the ends of the fibers. This may lead to an underestimation of the thermal conductivity coefficient when determining it. To eliminate this effect, the effectiveness of using foil gaskets based on thermally expanded graphite was proposed and experimentally confirmed. The influence of the degree of graphitization of carbon fibers on the overall thermal conductivity of high-voltage composite materials has been experimentally demonstrated. It has been experimentally shown that when creating an HVCM, the heat capacity of the composite material does not depend on the shape, structure, degree of graphitization and other parameters of the carbon filler.
