WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS, MEMBRANE TECHNOLOGIES, RECYCLING WATER SUPPLY, WATER SUPPLY NETWORKS, NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLOWS, HYDRO-ENERGY OF SMALL RIVERS. The object of research is water supply systems; water supply networks; water treatment; fluid flows, hydropower. The purpose of the work is to improve the methods of calculation and operation of water supply systems; determination of influencing factors on the sedimentation intensity of circulating water supply; effective flow distribution in water supply networks; operation of hydrotechnical structures and use of energy of water resources. Research methods - theoretical research, process modeling, improvement of calculation methods. In the paper, a theoretical analysis of the factors using quantum-chemical analysis of the use of cleaning solutions for the regeneration of ultrafiltration membranes is made. It is shown that the use of chemical reagents to adjust the composition and quality of water in return water supply systems leads to an increase in the efficiency of the equipment and, accordingly, the productivity of enterprises. It is shown that the analysis of water supply networks is the basis for determining the nodes of the introduction of additional water flows, which will not critically increase the head loss and will not cause the need to increase the throughput of the existing network. Іn order to simplify the calculation of natural and artificial flows, an analysis of the calculation parameters of the flows was carried out, and the mutual influence of the hydraulic characteristics and flow modes was determined. It is shown that the use of hydropower from small rivers opens up broad prospects for sustainable development and diversification of the energy mix and can be a significant contribution to the development of renewable energy sources and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
