Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 At the first stage, a collection of peripheral blood (tumor samples) of patients with chronic B-cell lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) was created. The cohort of 30 patients included both, those who had COVID and those who had received the SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. As a control, we used the blood of patients with CLL, taken before the pandemic in the amount of 38 samples. A database of clinical and pathomorphological characteristics of CLL patients was created. An analysis of clinical and laboratory indicators of CLL was performed. The main subpopulations of lymphocytes and the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines in peripheral blood were determined. As a result of the bioinformatic analysis of open databases regarding the predictive and prognostic value of the expression profile of pro-inflammatory cytokines in the blood of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia who contracted COVID and/or received vaccination against SARS-CoV-2, it was established that the level of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL1-beta, IL6 was elevated , IL8, IL17A and GFS1 positively correlates with the survival of such patients. The obtained data indicate that these cytokines can be used as a test panel to assess the prognosis of the course of the malignant process. Product Description popup.authors Voznyuk Lyudmyla V.
