The purpose of this research is the metrological support of measurements of the characteristics of ionizing radiation and the modernization of the reference base according to EU requirements, as a standard of the enterprise for use in the department of metrological support of measurements of the characteristics of ionizing radiation. To achieve the goal, it is necessary to solve the following tasks, namely to develop two calibration methods: – "X-ray radiation installations, dosimetric installations and radionuclide sources of gamma radiation"; Research methods – theoretical aspects of information and measuring technology and metrology, modeling, programming, development, research and standardization, including in the field of metrological support of measuring equipment, including radiometers and other types of FTA. Experiments were carried out using reference radiometry; the research used a number of unique equipment of the reference base of Ukraine, including reference radiation sources, relevant equipment for transferring the size of the reference unit, and directly a number of batches of FTA that were subject to calibration. Based on the study of the regulatory and regulatory technical documentation in force in the EU and in Ukraine, relating to ensuring the unity of measurements in the field of dosimetry, it was established that the Unit Size Transfer Scheme, which includes high-value radiation sources (National standards), specialized equipment with secondary and working standards, which transfer the size of the unit to dosimeters and dose power meters, requires modernization to European standards.
