A working group was formed and regional endocrinologists from all parts of the country were involved in the implementation of the project. In accordance with the goal of the project, a retrospective national survey has been started. The study involved patients with type 2 diabetes who sought consultation for diagnostic purposes or were previously examined and included in the registers of diabetic patients. During the implementation of the project in 2023, the data of 811 respondents from different regions of the country were interviewed and analyzed. Using the analysis of questionnaires, it was established that among all respondents, 29.6% of people were in the zone of active hostilities. The impact of stress factors and the incidence of COVID-19 in patients with type 2 diabetes during military operations was evaluated, taking into account additional factors affecting physical and mental health.
