The practice of breeding work has proved that well-defined breed typicality, constitutional strength and adaptive ability largely determine high productivity and operational qualities of dairy cattle, and success in further increasing production volumes depends on the introduction of scientifically based methods for evaluating and selecting animals. Despite the long history of this problem, it will always be relevant, since its solution depends on the quantity and quality of products, the health of not only the animals themselves, but also human health. Research is aimed at studying the constitution, adaptability and well-being of dairy cattle, the use of innovative fodder in feeding agricultural animals and poultry with the aim of increasing their productivity, product quality and economic efficiency of production. The purpose of this work: theoretical and experimental substantiation of methodical approaches to improving the productive qualities of agricultural animals and poultry by means of feeding and selection in the production of organic products. The main results of this work: the solution to the scientific problem of selection is provided by developing and implementing methods for evaluating the types of constitution and adaptability of dairy cattle and the use of pig crossbreeding, the use of innovative feed products in the feeding of agricultural animals and poultry in order to increase their productivity, product quality and economic efficiency of production. Practical value: the results of research are used in research and practical activities and the educational process, in production conditions, allow breeders to independently implement the developed methodical approaches to increase the breeding and productive qualities of animals by means of feeding and selection.
