The task of socialization at each age stage of personality development is analyzed. It was determined that social intelligence, communicative abilities, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, self-efficacy and practical intelligence are determinants of the process of socialization of an individual. It is shown that modern technologies, in particular the media, have a significant impact on the socialization of the individual. Cyber socialization is becoming an important aspect of the educational process, where the use of the Internet and other technologies complements traditional teaching methods and promotes changes in the relationships between participants in the educational process. The peculiarities of socialization in face-to-face, distance, network, family and mixed forms of education are considered. The results of the study of social competences by means of Waldorf pedagogy are provided. With the help of statistical processing of the results, the connection between different communicative profiles of young people and their attitude to socialization tasks was proved. The results of the study of teacher socialization processes in the context of the analysis of secondary and professional socialization are presented. With the help of the "Indicator of Coping Strategies" method, the behavioral strategies of teachers, which are formed in the course of life and are revealed in difficult life situations, were revealed. Among them: 1) problem-solving strategy as the ability to use all personal resources in a stressful situation; 2) the strategy of seeking social support as the ability to actively seek social support in a stressful situation; 3) avoidance strategy as a person's ability to avoid solving problems by avoiding the problematic situation itself.
