The purpose of the work is to identify the existing and create new genetic material of soft wheat with increased adaptability to climate change conditions, to determine the influence of genetic systems other than Vrd and Ppd on adaptability by using classical selection methods involving molecular genetic markers and to create on this basis, new varieties with high adaptability and productivity. Research methods. Field, laboratory, breeding and mathematical and statistical. The creation of the initial selection material was carried out by the method of intraspecific and distant hybridization, followed by repeated individual selection. The processing of the source material was carried out according to the complete scheme of the selection process. Research results and their novelty. In the competitive variety testing of winter wheat, the best yielding lines were selected: Lutescens 448-13 (4.50 t/ha); in the preliminary variety test - Erythrospermum 225-22 (3.40 t/ha), Lutescens 145-22 (3.80 t/ha). The Lutescens 448-13 line belongs to cluster "A" in terms of resistance to powdery mildew, and in terms of quality indicators, cluster "B" has the volume of bread (550 mm). In the competitive spring wheat variety test, the best lines were Erythrospermum 25-21 (4.30 t/ha), Lutescens 117-21 (3.30 t/ha); of preliminary variety testing - Erythrospermum 65-21 and Erythrospermum 99-21 (2.90 t/ha each).
