Registration Date 25-12-2023 Organization Odessa National Medical University popup.description2  The features of the course of cardiovascular (ischemic heart disease, cardiac arrhythmias), endocrine (diabetes mellitus), and pathology of the musculoskeletal system (osteoarthritis) in patients with arterial hypertension who underwent COVID-19 were analyzed. An association of worsening course, exacerbation, or decompensation of hypertension with the indicated comorbid conditions was revealed. The initial data of 12-lead ECG, electromyographic studies, and 24-hours Holter ECG monitoring in 36 patients with arterial hypertension and cardiac arrhythmias who underwent COVID-19 were analyzed. A more significant number of paroxysmal arrhythmias, such as atrial fibrillation, non-persistent monomorphic ventricular tachycardia, and sustained or nonsustained (paroxysmal) of atrial tachycardia, were registered. The peculiarities of the course of diabetes in patients with arterial hypertension who suffered from COVID-19 were studied and the peculiarities of the course of arterial hypertension in the specified contingent of patients were determined (deterioration of control of arterial hypertension, increase in the level of C-reactive protein, increased risk of cardiovascular complications).
