The main tasks of the project: 1) to develop and improve the microextraction methodology using nonionic surfactants and deep-eutectic solvents (DES) for extraction and concentration of toxic elements when they are determined in pharmaceutical facilities; 2) to develop methods for the synthesis of fluorescent chemosensors based on squaraine dyes and/or other fluorophores for the determination of toxic metal cations in environmental objects. Research objects – micellar solutions of Triton X-100 and Triton X-114; DES based on menthol; drugs "Calcium Gluconate" and "Tivortin"; semisquarine and hemisquarine dyes; standard samples of metal ions. Research methods – microextraction, atomic and molecular electron spectroscopy, organic synthesis, chromatography, NMR-spectroscopy, mass-spectrometry, quantum-chemical and molecular-dynamic calculations. During the implementation of the project, the dependence of the extraction of toxic elements on the type of hydrotrops, pH, concentrations of the ligand and surfactants was established. A method of isolating and concentrating arsenic from "Calcium Gluconate" and Hg(II) from "Tivortin" for determination by atomic emission spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma was developed. New DES based on menthol were obtained and characterized, and their extraction properties were investigated for extraction of Cd(II), Pb(II) and Hg(II). New sensors sensitive to Hg(II) based on semisquarine and hemisquaraine dyes were developed, their chemosensory properties towards ions of various metals were studied, and the stability and structure of the formed complexes were investigated using combined quantum-chemical and molecular-dynamic approaches Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2023-12-25 Close
